About DoggyDoggy
Our story
DoggyDoggy was founded in 2017 by best friends Ise and Wouter. When Wouter dropped off his own dogs at a dog daycare, he was asked whether he could build software that would make planning and administration easier. All those messages, Excel files and evenings with a calculator in hand — surely there had to be a better way? And so DoggyDoggy was born.
DoggyDoggy started as a small-scale project that Ise and Wouter truly believed in and more than enjoyed. By now it has become their work, but not only that — it is still a hobby too. Over the years DoggyDoggy has saved relationships and holidays, and we have helped businesses grow. And that is what we do it for.
In the meantime DoggyDoggy has grown into a company with several employees. We keep improving and expanding the software; it is never finished. We regularly add new features to DoggyDoggy, so that our clients benefit from it even more. That is how we do our utmost to support all dog businesses in the Netherlands and Belgium as well as we can.

Wouter
Yo, I'm Wouter Gerritsen, the mastermind behind DoggyDoggy! Besides being crazy about kitesurfing — man, catching those waves is amazing — I'm also a bit of a software magician. With DoggyDoggy.app I want to give every dog walking service, big or small, a helping paw to improve their services. No more barking about administration and hassle, because DoggyDoggy takes care of that for them. I mean, let's be honest, who has time for paperwork when there are so many cute dogs to play with? Let DoggyDoggy.app do the heavy lifting while they have a blast with those four-legged buddies! Woof!
Ise
I'm Ise, co-founder of DoggyDoggy.app. As frontend developer and the one who sets the mood within the company, I love bringing our vision to life. Besides my passion for technology, I'm also the proud father of four adorable children. Conditioning is one of my specialities, but my allergy to dog hair limits me in owning a dog. Luckily I have a hypoallergenic cat that I happily take for walks. As an animal lover I'm committed to making our app help every dog walking service, so that they can spend more time caring for the dogs, without administrative worries.
Yuri
As a developer I'm jointly responsible for the web and mobile application, which I put a lot of time into with great pleasure. I love programming (lovely puzzling) and dogs (they're always cheerful, brilliant!). So it's wonderful to be able to combine the two at DoggyDoggy 🐶!
Sherlock
I'm Sherlock, the beagle and proud mascot of DoggyDoggy.app. They also call me the chief barking officer of the team. Although I sometimes suffer from binge-eating fits, I make up for that with my other skills. My sharp nose and knack for tracking make me an excellent dog to help find innovative solutions for our app. I'm also an expert at bringing joy and smiles to everyone who meets me. With my enthusiasm and cheerful character I make sure the team always stays motivated and positive. Together we make DoggyDoggy.app the best experience for all four-legged friends!
Mojo
I'm Mojo, the cat. I oversee. I judge. I rule, at the very least over the windowsill, the sofa and anyone who dares to sit there. Dogs may run and bark; I watch from a height and give the occasional approving nod. Officially I have no role at DoggyDoggy. Unofficially, it can't be ruled out that every important decision passes by me first. The app being for dogs I regard as a temporary situation.
Mini
I'm Mini, and yes, I'm a proper lady. New people, new dogs? I size things up first, calmly, from a safe distance. But once I trust you, it's on: running and playing with other dogs is secretly my favourite thing in the world. At DoggyDoggy I'm head of treat quality control. A heavy responsibility, but someone has to do it. I test them daily, just to be sure they're still good.
Bing
I'm Bing. Small? That's a matter of perspective. In my head I'm at least a Great Dane, and I act accordingly. I've got energy for three and I jump higher than you'd expect, just ask the kitchen table. At DoggyDoggy I'm Head of Enthusiasm: every new feature, every new client and every visit to the office gets celebrated like it's the first time. Because to me, it is. Every single time.
